I love to create small works of art that you can wear. Each bead in every piece is carefully chosen to become part of the composition; color and form are important, but so is the theme of the piece itself. When I see a bead, I can visualize what it will become. My pieces are unique combinations of glass, semi-precious stones, and crystal. On occasion I will use bone or wood, depending on what the piece needs.

We live in Gold Beach, Oregon on the south coast. I have loved color and form all my life, being completely obsessed with sea shells since I can remember. I have spent most of my life learning about the wonderful animals that live here at the sea's edge, with all their amazing colors and form. Beads and the natural world are very similar; there is infinite variety and beauty. The beads really tell me what they want to look like, but I get many ideas from the beautiful world I live in.
